The SF-15 Spitfire Aerospace Fighter is a Solar Frontiers design released after the SF-13A. It goes back to the concepts seen in the earlier SF-8A Aerospace Fighter and then makes it look more conventional. With the engines moved further out on the wings the design gains more internal space near the center. With carriers in mind, the outer wings can actually fold up when not in flight. It made a great carrier fighter, before it was mostly replaced in that role by the SF-19A Phoenix Aerospace Fighter.

The SF-15 did prove to have better firepower than most SF designs. This starts with a under-nose mounted single barrel laser cannon. Followed by a pair of internal missile magazines which each hold up to three missiles and can launch all six at once if needed. Finally a pair of wing pylons exist on the outer wing, however these can only hold one standard missile each. In space the standard missile can be switched for a single heavy missile, but this does not work in an atmosphere as it unbalances the aircraft.
